Oasis Academy: Mayfield opened in September 2008 and is a part of a family of academies run by Oasis Community Learning aimed to create and sustain a network of excellent learning communities, where everyone can realise their full potential.
We are looking for a TA who has a positive and encouraging approach to dealing with students with a variety of complex and challenging learning difficulties. We are seeking someone with an understanding of reading and delivering Individual Education Plans (IEPs) with the ability to build good rapport with children of all abilities.
The successful applicant will join a friendly, supportive and enthusiastic team, who offer a specialist, diverse and tailor-made education programme alongside the academy teaching staff to endeavour that National Curriculum standards are met. TA support is provided on a 1:1, group and in class basis. It is an exciting time for the department at the moment with new job roles being explored and developed.
It is essential that applicants have proven recent experience of working with students who display complex learning needs. Applicants must have a miminum of NVQ Level three.
