General Manager - Millies Cookies, Southampton

Salary circa £21,000 per annum

We provide a range of services including branded restaurants, bars, convenience stores, food courts and coffee shops at locations such as airports, on board ferries, at railway stations and in the leisure and retail markets.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our Southampton for an experienced Store Manager to give leadership and guidance to an established team at our popular Millies Cookies stores.

Millies Cookies, retailers of freshly baked American style cookies are market leaders in the UK. Their delicious range includes high quality cookies, giant muffins, speciality cakes, coffee, cold drinks and ice cream - very popular with busy people on the go !

Join us as a Unit Manager and you’ll not only be operating within a highly successful brand, but will also be part of a bigger SSP management team operating other successful brands.

You’ll enjoy full autonomy in your role and will revel in the fresh challenges and exciting prospects every day brings. This is as close as you can get to running your own business while still operating within a global brand, as you will be responsible for every aspect affecting the P&L, whilst upholding the outstanding levels of customer service and operational standards for which SSP is internationally renowned.

With your experience in retail catering, you’ll know success in this industry is all about customer service and here it is no different. You will spend the majority of your time giving the very best customer service and inspiring others to do the same. As an inspirational manager already, you’ll be able to demonstrate experience of successfully motivating and leading your team to deliver financial, service and operational results, whilst having the ability to think on your feet and make decisions in one of the most fast paced environments around.
