Restaurant Manager
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced hands on Restaurant Manager to oversee the overall management of a beautiful, 2 rosette restaurant in the New Forest. You will ensure the restaurant achieves and maintains high levels of professionalism, customer service, staff morale and profitability.
Principle responsibilities:
* Develop the restaurants business in the same direction and to the same standard as the group
* Lead by example with a hands on approach
* Work alongside the head chef to gain accolades in the restaurant by ensuring the standards as set out by the AA are maintained and monitored, focusing on attention to detail
* Maintain a safe environment for guests, staff and visitors
* Ensure, as a Personal Licence Holder, that standards comply with the liquor licence
* Improve turnover and increase cash flow
* Increase repeat business by forming professional relationships with corporate, leisure and function clients, managing time to personally oversee them
* Control cost, sales and overhead expenses to enable budgeted profits to be achieved
* Ensure all restaurant staff are trained to the highest standard in order to achieve the highest accolades available
* Any other tasks, within the capabilities of the restaurant manager, as and when requested by the company
