Group Financial Analyst
About the Role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller the Group Financial Analyst will co-ordinate the Group annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes. This involves the development and maintenance of budget/forecast templates, liaising with business unit finance teams, and development and maintenance of the Group Budget and Forecast Models. In addition, the role supports a variety of monthly reporting and analysis requirements such as CEO reporting, Group KPIs, overhead analysis, cash flow forecasting, etc. The role also involves the preparation of data in support of benchmarking processes and other ad hoc financial analysis requirements.
About You
The role would suit a nearly or newly qualified accountant seeking more exposure to Group planning, budgeting and reporting. In addition to being nearly or newly qualified you should be able to demonstrate the following characteristics and skills:
. Be proactive and a self-starter.
. Have excellent Excel and financial modelling skills.
. Be able to meet tight deadlines and key milestones.
. Be able to work independently.
It would be preferable though not essential to have the following:
. Experience of working in a medium to large Group environment.
. Experience of working in an international organisation.
. Experience of working with a Hyperion Consolidation System.
