Due to company growth our client is seeking an experienced Engineering Quality Technician to join their Quality Department to ensure the requirements of ISO90001 are maintained.

Your responsibilities will be to -

•Ensure procedures are followed across the company and help introduce corrective actions
•Develop product reliability tests and data
•Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements
•Support daily activities in the Quality Department from goods receiving through to despatch
•Ensure audits are completed in a timely manner
•Support company production requirements at all times
•Support product updates and new product introduction

You will need -
•Proven Quality Assurance experience within a medium volume manufacturing/engineering company
•Methodical approach to problem solving
•Computer literacy
•Ability to understand component drawings and inspection methods
•Excellent communication skills

A HNC/D in Engineering or equivalent would be useful, also Six Sigma knowledge and electromechanical assembly experience.

Based in Lymington this is initially a 6 month contract, to be reviewed, with pro rata salary of £18K - £20K plus free parking.
