This position is based in Hampshire

Salary up to £35,000 per annum

Job Description

Join the existing commercial team in assisting in the commercial management of the Hampshire County Council Term Highway Contract.

Requirements

Practical experience
Experience in the preparation of interim and final accounts
Experience in measurement
Experience in subcontract procurement and administration to final account
Experience in road construction or highway maintenance would be an advantage
A degree qualification or persons working towards RICS membership would be preferable
Commercial awareness
Practical interpersonal and influencing skills
Good numeracy, organisational and administrative ability
Knowledge of Highways method of measurement
Computer literacy in Word and Excel etc


Responsibilities

Monitoring project costs and feeding back cost value information to the site team
Negotiating / agreeing accounts with subcontractors and the client
Subcontract payments
Production of the monthly application to the client
Procurement and setting up subcontract orders Monthly reporting and forecasting
