An ICT Teacher is required at a school which is rapidly improving with a Maths and Computing specialism in Southampton. The position will become available in January for 2 terms, with the view to become permanent thereafter.

The school are looking for a strong practitioner who will be able to support the school in moving forward to the next level and who enjoys a challenge. You will also be able to encourage confident and independent learning where everyone is able to nurture a positive self-image.

The school is an average sized mixed comprehensive, providing a good education for pupils aged 11-16. A new head teacher was appointed in 2008 and this has brought a powerful air of improvement throughout the school. Pupil behaviour is good and this promotes improved learning.
