Violinists Eloise Goulder and Robyn Carpenter have been performing together for nearly a decade, having met as members of the Hampshire County Youth Orchestra. Following a number of requests, the Delicato Duo was formed in order to provide audiences with a flexible – but equally elegant – alternative to their main ensemble, the Dolce String Quartet.
The duo’s repertoire is grounded in well-known classics by composers such as J. S. Bach, Handel, Haydn and Mozart. We are also happy to discuss individual requirements and, where possible, will incorporate special requests into the programme.
The majority of our engagements take place in London. However, we are always willing to consider events outside the capital and regularly perform in cities such as Oxford, Cambridge and Winchester. (All travel costs are included in a personal quote and will vary according to distance and available transport links.)
Fees
First hour: £140
Additional hours: £100
A deposit of £50 is required in order to confirm the booking and this will be deducted from the final payment. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Eloise Goulder’ or ‘Robyn Carpenter’. No paperwork need take place on the day of the performance; however, we request that the outstanding payment is sent to the address below within 14 days.

On the day
We always arrive at a function at least thirty minutes early in order to allow sufficient time to change, set up and tune our violins. We expect to provide everything we need with the exception of chairs, but we will also need adequate space to perform at our best! The duo’s attire naturally varies according to the nature of the event. However, we always ensure that we are coordinated and suitably dressed for the occasion.
