Mechanical Contracts Manager- Hampshire

Due to an increase in work load and a healthy order book for 2009, this well established Building Services Installation and maintenance contractor now seeks a Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their established team.

Projects covered will include commercial office blocks as well as major Public Sector projects for building schools for future, Hospital and NHS Trusts. The mechanical projects will range in value from £1.5 million to £10 million.

You will be responsible for:

* All Heating/ Ventilation / Air Conditioning / AHU's and pipework for all projects.
* Managing mechanical services contracts from inception to completion.
* monitor performance against Company Budget and Business Direction Plan
* review all Contract documentation for potential risk exposure
* identify the Customer base and services sold which will lead to an understanding of the market and identification of new opportunities
* become familiar with the delivery, process, capability and commercial requirements towards sales, profitability and management
* Managing a team of direct and indirect work force (must have experience in running a team of 6-8 project managers)
* Procuring all materials for site.
* Ensuring the projects are completed on time and to budget
* Client presentations
* Liaison with the Main contractor / Architect / and the end user clients
* Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
* Must have proven ability to manage projects to final account independently.

The salary is £35-£50k basic (depending on experience) + car or car allowance + up to 25% bonus linked to company performance + death in service benefits + laptop + phone
