Refrigeration Surveyor- Southampton

My client is one of the UK's leading manufacturers of HVAC equipment. Due to continued expansion and acquirement of contracts they are currently looking to add to their work force with the addition of a refrigeration engineer, responsible for carrying out surveys and assessments on refrigeration equipment.

The role is ideal for a refrigeration engineer that has jsut finished their NVQ Level 2, with a good understanding and previous knowledge in the repair of retail packaged air conditioning units, looking to further their career in the field of surveying and quotations. Ideal applicants for the role will have:
- NVQ Level 2
- Previous experience in working on packaged units of a retail/ commercial nature
- desirable is F gas certificate and NVQ Levels 3/4, however not essential
- Full driving license

The successful applicant will be employed as a Refrigeration Surveyor, responsible for retail contracts nationwide, going to these stores and carrying out surveys and pre- project assessments on the condition of refrigeration equipment. Once surveys have been carried out, applicants will be responsible for putting together quotations based on the price or repair, man hour and materials required and submitting this to the client.

The salary is £20k basic + car + 20 days holiday & 8 bank holidays + contributory pension + expenses

To apply applicants must have previous experience working as a refrigeration engineer with a good understanding of retail packaged air conditioning units and a minimum of NVQ Level 2.
