Product Assistant – Adventure Travel Worldwide
We are an online adventure tour operator based in Southampton, UK, offering group and tailor made holidays to over 80 countries worldwide. We are looking for a Product Assistant to work in our Product Development and Reservations department. We are a small, but rapidly expanding company and this entry level role is an excellent opportunity to move into the field of product, with a lot of scope to develop within the company. This is a permanent, full time position.

Duties include:
Editing and updating the website
Development of our web-based tailor made tour system – developing tours, tour information and uploading images.
Updating information on our intranet

Technical Skills:
Creative writing, editing and re-drafting - a large part of the job will involve writing about travel destinations, therefore it is essential that you are able to independently research and compose original, accurate and interesting destination information.
Good level of word and excel skills
Basic design skills, using In-Design software including PDF generation

Experience:
Experience in the travel industry is not essential but would be preferable
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Extensive travel experience and exposure to different cultures would be an advantage
Degree qualification desirable
Writing skills are essential

General:
Visa - must be eligible to work in the UK without restrictions; working holiday makers need not apply.
A ‘can do’ approach to problem solving
Ability to multi task
A team worker with strong inter personal skills
Enthusiastic, flexible and pro active
