This is an amazingly versatile 2-in-1 pram/pushchair which has served us brilliantly for the first three years of our daughter’s life. We are selling because we have a second on the way and are going to change models. We’d like this to go to a good home!

If you’re expecting your first child, or just want to upgrade your pushchair, we can’t speak highly enough of this. It doubles as a rear-facing pram (perfect for newborns) and as a front-facing pushchair (when they’re able to sit up and take it all in!).

It is made by Hauck (which has proved to be a very worthy manufacturer, if a little low-profile) and it’s very similar to something like the Bugaboo Chameleon which you can find at Mothercare for over £500. This pushchair cost £400 new.

The rear-facing option uses a very comfortable carrycot which is removable and can also be used as a moses basket (very handy for if you need to leave the pushchair outside but want to bring baby in!). When attached to the frame, the baby lies flat in the snug carrycot facing you - a real bonus when you’re a new mum (particularly a first timer!)

Then to adapt for front-facing, you simply remove the carrycot and click in the seat, which faces in the other direction and is suitable for all ages of toddlers. Don’t be scared about removing one section and adding the other - it really is as simple as a couple of clicks (no tools required!)

The best thing about the seat is that it is fully reclinable, and there are no clunky catches for the seat to move back through. You simply hold the lever down and ease the seat back as far or as little as you want - very smooth!

The other great idea is the canopy on the seat. It’s not attached to the back of the seat meaning it can swing right forward to protect baby’s face from the sun - no need for one of those umbrellas!

It’s incredible easy to steer - the smaller front wheels helping swerve through the crowds and doorways! - and the handle is fully adjustable and very comfortable too. The frame collapses down for storage or transport and the package comes complete with rain cover and foot muff.

In terms of condition, well it’s what you’d expect from a second hand pushchair. It’s been well used for two and a half years but functions perfectly and there are no tears to the fabric. There’s the odd mark here and there, including one small stain on the carrycot section, but nothing too major. If you want it perfect, buy it new from the manufacturers. If you want a bargain buy this!

We hope we haven’t bored you too much with all the detail but we remember what it was like as first-time expectant parents and we really didn’t know what we were doing! Suffice to say this 2-in-1 system proved invaluable to us and our daughter and we are sad to let it go.
