Electromechanical Engineer
Electromechanical Engineer required to join a VC company based in the South who work on innovative electromechanical products.
As Electromechanical Engineer you will be responsible for the electromechanical assembly, electronic test and providing customer support for their exciting products. You will be a hands on electromechanical engineer responsible for the electromechanical build and electronic test of sensor systems. You will also be liaising with customers, providing them with support and eventually, after training, on site customer support and servicing.
Candidates for the position will ideally have a degree or equivalent in mechatronics or similar, with hands on experience of electronic test to component level using DVMs. Experience of using scopes is beneficial as you will be required to analyse signals and problem solve. A good mechanical aptitude is essential.
Excellent attention to detail is essential as you will be working with delicate components and low volume assembly. You will also be involved in new products and working on special projects. A background in mechatronics is essential for this position as is excellent communication skills due to this role being customer facing.
