Our client is seeking to recruit a hydraulic modelling manager to lead the water modelling capability in the UK as part of our growing UK Water sector capability.
You will be responsible for developing and delivering the direction and strategy for the UK modelling team, agreeing the strategy with the UK water sector. The role will also involve the following:
- Developing the current team into a UK wide virtual team to ensure that the capability can grow in a sustainable way.
- Client liaison and business development.
- Day to day management of a team of support staff,
- Ensuring technically robust solutions.
- Actively contribute to the Water Management team growth in the water sector
You will have overall responsibility for ensuring your team`s projects are technically correct, validate that they meet the contractual requirements and are delivered within budget and programme.
You will be responsible for preparing project fee proposals, bids, budgets, resource levels and QA aspects.
Your principal technical role will be the overall management of a team, project management, concept studies and design, leading to planning applications or construction drawings. You can expect to be active on a number of projects/client accounts at any given time.
You will be Chartered status (CEng, MICE, or CIWEM) and have extensive experience in both hydraulic modelling and strategic modelling services such as SFRA, and knowledge of the Development Industry would be an advantage.
