PCB / CAD Designer is required to work in the R&D Department for this South Coast (Hampshire) electronics company. This position requires a blend of skills covering: PCB and electronics circuit layout, electronic membrane design, mechanical CAD tasks, and even graphical design. You should also have the ability to operate workshop tools for PCB milling, laser cutting etc

Your experience with computer CAD design tools should include some of the following: CorelDraw or Illustrator are desirable, otherwise Pcad, Altium, Orcad, Cadstar, PADS, Solidworks, Pro-Engineer, Unigraphics, AutoCAD, etc. The role itself will specifically utilise CorelDraw, Altium Designer, and Solidworks

This opportunity will suit a CAD Engineer who has that blend of mechanical design coupled with PCB and circuit layout electronics (e.g. Product design or prototyping will be suitable) who is familiar with working in an R&D department. You will need to have at least a minimum of two years relevant professional experience alongside with a suitable qualification (e.g. Degree or HND or higher). Please note that you will require that unique blend of electronic circuit layout AND mechanical CAD skills.
