A job for a Learning Support Tutor based in the New Forest, Hampshire. 

A specialist care unit based in the New Forest is looking for a 1:1 Learning Support Tutor to work with a 13 year old boy who has ADHD, ODD and ASD. He also has a history of BESD.

The child is taking part in a 3 month assessment and as part of this; the unit is looking to add education to his assessment.

You will be working with the child 3 times a week in short sessions.

Based in an informal setting, outside of a classroom setting, you will need to focus on the interests of the child and tailor make specific tasks.  

You will need to provide ideas to give the child with some basic educational needs and life skills; this may include basic Maths and English as well as DT, sport and art.

You will need to have experience working with SEN children and proven involvement in the planning and preparation of a class.
