Homelingua requires qualified EFL teachers to teach and host our students. Our students come from around the world including Spain, Japan, Russia, South America and Italy and usually stay between 1 and 4 weeks. Most of our students are adults but we are particularly keen to hear from teachers who can host juniors too.

Home tuition can be very rewarding as you can see the progress your student makes during their course and enjoy meeting people from different cultures. Our students are usually well educated and highly motivated.

You will need to have English as your mother tongue. Qualified school teachers may be suitable for teaching our junior students.

Our teachers provide comfortable accommodation, language study and all meals for their student.

Payment varies according to the course and number of hours tuition but is typically between £390 and £490.00 per week.

Home teaching tends to be more suited to mature teachers with their own home who require occasional employment.

Homelingua is accredited by the British Council and provides support to all our teachers.
