We are a family with 2 sporty boys (7 and 9 years) and are looking for a fun, energetic au pair to live in. We live within walking distance of the city centre and as a family cycle most places.

The post involves helping in the mornings to prepare the children for school, collecting them from school and cooking them an evening meal. Cleaning and ironing is also part of the job as well as looking after the children during the holidays. There is plenty of free time during the day and the evenings to explore, work elsewhere or just relax in the lovely surroundings.

We can give you references from previous au pairs who have spent some time with us. If you have a friend that wants to do similar work, we have a friend who has 2 girls and a boy who is also looking for an au pair from September and then you would have some antipodean company. Having said that there are plenty of au pairs around who get together to go out and about.
