We are looking for an experienced carer to live with our mother who is bedridden and suffering from short term memory loss.

We already have a daytime carer, so what we need is someone to be in the house from 18.00 to 08.30 every night, and be there over the weekend. Any further free time could be arranged in conjunction with the day time carer. You would be free during the day to work elsewhere.

Duties would include helping with personal care, dressing, cooking light meals,
and generally keeping our mother company. Our mother is a very easy person to care for and at the moment does not require any nursing as such.

We are offering full board and lodging, plus a salary of about 250 pounds a week. Two weeks paid holiday a year, unpaid holiday up to 4 weeks a year.
We have a very nice, large, private, bedroom to offer in a semi-bungalow with large garden. Internet access 24/7

The ideal female candidate should be over 30, have experience in caring and looking after the elderly and be ready to commit for at least one year. She should be able to speak English fluently and clearly. A driver's licence would also be desirable but not essential. We have a van for the disabled which could be used for excursions if wanted.

The position is available as of the end of Novermber, but could begin sooner if needed.
