Main duties will include:
· Preparation of materials prior to lessons & delivery to the right lab sessions
· Clearance & cleaning of materials and equipment
· Stocktaking & replenishment of equipment, material and chemicals
· Testing and repair of equipment
· Ability to liaise effectively in the event of a chemical spillage
· Support teaching staff & other technicians in the Science department

Experience & abilities:
· Science lab experience, preferably within a school environment, although not essential
· Good all round knowledge of a working science lab and hazards
· ICT abilities
· Science qualifications to at least A' Level standard
· Strong communication skills
· Flexible & adaptable approach to work

Overseas applicants MUST have UK experience including a working VISA and will also require an overseas police check before applying if they have lived outside the UK for more than 3 months since the age of 18.
