Our client, a large multinational company is seeking to recruit a French speaking Senior Account Manager for their office based in Buckinghamshire.
Job Role
The Account Manager will be assigned to one or more clients and act on a
collaborative and consultative basis, providing insights into the company, to help shape the customer’s business requirements to help them achieve their objectives.
You will be needed to keep abreast of the changes in the industry so that the clients are appraised of the new innovations in the market place to improve their business processes.
The purpose of this role is to drive a more consultative, knowledge based engagement and work closely with the client to close the gap between the company as a product provider and the client’s business.
You will strive to become a trusted member of the client’s team providing a voice for company's product usage and their own product development and business direction.
Responsibilities
• Work seamlessly with the client’s teams to ensure most effective use of current and future resources to deliver solutions to the clients brand stakeholders.
• Enable two-way sharing of knowledge with the client’s team to enhance their knowledge of the company's platform capabilities and improve the team knowledge of the client’s use of platforms.
• Determine alternatives to meet Clients needs and/or increase revenue opportunities for the company
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with the relevant client’s teams – to in effect operate as a key part of their team.
• Contribute to the teams understanding client’s strategic direction and ensuring the company is positioned to meet their future needs
• Self starter and able to work independently as well as a strong team player in the account team and wider team
• Provides support to other members of the Account team, as required.
• To attend regular meetings with the Account Director and Senior Director, Relationship Management to review job status and personal development.
The Candidate
• Fluent in English and French
• Educated to degree level or equivalent, or equivalent experience
• Previous experience working with Clients
• Experience dealing with European vs. US cultural diversity
• Previous experience of managing across teams/processes
• Credit Card/ financial services industry knowledge and experience
• Strong Team management background in matrix environment
• Emphasis on ongoing improvements
• Relationship skills within a variety of positions
• Strong communication skills – written and spoken
• Proactive approach to relationship development
• Excellent time management skills including the ability to prioritise a busy workload and progress several lines of work at the same time
• Proven self –starter and team player
• Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.
Salary: £45-65,000
