I am offering for sale a beautiful example of Gibson craftsmanship. The ES135 is a semi-solid guitar, with a solid centre block to reduce feedback and enhance sustain. No longer in production in this style, this is the two humbucker ('57 PAFs) version of the 135; other versions had P90s. In addition, and different to most other versions, this one has the trapeze tailpiece rather than a stop bar. For blues and jazz, this is the guitar to own. It will crank up a bit too for some edgy blues-rock, but it's not the thing for hard rock or shred.
All the hardware is nickel, and as you can see from the photo, the finish is the most amazing Blueburst, normally only available these days as a Custom Shop finish.
I bought the guitar new from the USA in 2002 and it has been lovingly cared for and only had very light use in the time I have owned it. It comes with the original Gibson hardshell case.
My reasons for selling are entirely genuine, and I will happily discuss these with any prospective buyer. The guitar is available for viewing/trying by arrangement, no problem. I will consider sensible offers, but no time-wasters please.
For the right player, this is a dream guitar. I will be sorry to see it go, but it deserves to be out there, being seen and more importantly being heard - it sounds truly amazing.
