Receptionist Administrator required for busy Southampton office
RECEPTIONIST/ ADMINISTRATOR- FUTURE HOME CARE
Location: Southampton
Salary: £14,500- £16,500
An exciting opportunity has recently arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Receptionist/ Administrator to join the Southampton team at Future Home Care in Southampton as a Receptionist.
Future Home Care has rapidly become a leading care provider supporting learning disabled adults to live independent lifestyles within their own homes. Care and support is designed on an individual basis to meet the needs of the Service User and to promote their independence.
This is a varied and demanding role. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake various duties, some of which are detailed below:
Responsibilities include:
 Reception duties- including answering the telephone and forwarding calls/taking messages/greeting visitors..
 Administrative support for the Registered Manager- including diary management, room bookings, minute taking at meetings, typing correspondence.
 Facility management- including accident reporting and event bookings.
 Other duties include post management and liaising with other areas of the company to ensure effective communication between Southampton and other FHC offices.
Requirements:
 At least two years of experience of working within a busy office environment (Essential)
 Ability to multi-task and cope with pressure (Essential)
 Good working knowledge of the main Microsoft Office programs (Essential)
 Excellent administrative skills (Essential)
 NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration (Desirable)
 RSA Level 2 (Desirable)
 Experience of working with individuals with communication or learning difficulties (Desirable)
