Duty Manager Full Time
We are looking for a driven and self motivated leader to undertake the role of a Duty Manager in the absence of our General Manager.
The basic job description is...
• To assume day-to-day responsibility for the operational management of the unit as rostered.
• To strive to achieve a culture that is totally focused on the delivery of the best possible level of customer service.
• To take personal accountability for designated department/area of the unit as designated by the General Manager.
• To deputise in the absence of the General Manager.
• To attend and fully participate in management meetings and to cascade communication to staff members as appropriate
• To facilitate and attend staff meetings as requested by the General Manager
• To communicate to all external bodies as appropriate
• To understand and utilise all administrative practices and systems
• Facilitate own departmental meetings and feed back to General Manager
• To positively contribute towards maintaining the quality of product and unit appearance
• To identify customer needs and promote customer recognition throughout the unit
• To strive to constantly achieve operating standards
• To regularly and systematically check standards and identify action for improvement
• To have a working knowledge of all aspects of the business and maintain constant involvement of self in tasks
• To respond to customer comments made on a daily basis and feedback to management team as appropriate
• To support the maintenance function within the unit
• To facilitate an entertaining environment at all times

Rates of pay up to £6.70 per hour, 35 hour contract. 5.4 weeks holiday. Bank holidays @ 1.5x. Free meals on duty, and other benefits.
Earliest start 8am, latest finish 10pm. Regular weekend working, although 1 in 4 off.
