We have a permanent job opportunity for a Project manager within the Estates team of a large Southampton based NHS trust.
You need to be a suitably qualified and experienced capital programmes manger to take responsibility for the oversight of major initiatives and programmes and for planning, supporting, facilitating progress of programmes across the trust requiring the project management of specified programmes/projects. The post holder will direct the allocation of human and other resources within the estates and environment team to ensure that programmes/projects are delivered to time, quality and within the scope of business cases and work programmes. The scope of the programmes being undertaken by the team at any one time will be highly complex and varied and will require the exercise of considerable judgement to allocate resources against conflicting and changing priorities. Responsibilities will include production of project products by the post holder themselves, and contribution and liaison where necessary to ensure delivery by others. The post holder will line manage the project staff within the estates and environment team, will supervise the delivery of project tasks by others.

You will be responsible for providing resource and support to estate strategic workstreams as well as individual projects, both at admin support level and at more senior levels as required.

Project Management qualifications (PRINCE2 and training or equivalent experience up to Masters level) - Please note that these qualifications are not essential as training can be provided.
