We are looking for a carer and a homework assistant for our 18 year old son. He has cerebral palsy, drives an electric wheelchair and is very bright. He is enrolled in the International Baccalaureate programme and is a day student.

We live in rural Hampshire a few miles from Odiham.

He requires assistance with personal care, dressing, eating, transferring in and out of his wheelchair, going out with friends, etc.

He needs help with his homework as well. He requires computer input help and assistance with various tasks related to his college work. He is studying biology, French, maths and world literature.

The job can be split if you only want to help with care or with homework.

Work is available on weekends, evenings and during half terms and holidays. There is the possibility of travel with the care position. You must have a passport that is valid for at least another six months.

We provide all training.

You must be highly proficient at reading and speaking English.

If you need a place to stay we have a spare bedroom and bathroom.
