Financial Controller in Hampshire
A leading Hampshire based charity offering quality care to dependant older people are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Financial Controller to support the organisation, and develop and monitor sound financial controls.
The main duties for this Financial Controller position include developing the financial controls and accounting procedures, taking the lead in producing statutory accounts, preparing management and financial accounts, assisting in budgeting, monitoring cash flow, investments and borrowings, and operating the payroll process.
The successful candidate will ideally be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with previous experience as a Financial Controller in a multi-site, multi-company environment, or someone wanting to move out of public practice into a commercial role. You will need practical knowledge of financial controls, risk management and project management, and an ability to communicate both with financials and non-financials as well as develop effective working relationships with both internal and internal clients. An understanding of charity reporting requirements and payroll would be an advantage.
