Mechanical Design Engineer

Based in South England this company is at the forefront of technology development for instrumentation in various industrial sectors. Their products are utilised by a number of industrial OEM's for chemical analysis.

The remit for this role will be to have direct involvement in the mechanical design of the company's product line and will have direct responsibilities for functions such as concept design (PRODUCT DESIGN) & innovative design, DFM, DFMEA, injection moulding, Stress Analysis (FEA), Thermal Analysis and problem solving. Delivering projects within time constraints are also important factors. Mechanical Design Engineers who have experience with leading 3D CAD systems are most preferred, especially any mix of the following : Solid Works, Pro-Engineer, Pro/e, Pro/Engineer, Unigraphics, Solid Edge, Autocad etc. It is essential we find someone with a minimum of 10 years design experience of SMALL COMPONENTS or SMALL MECHANISMS for this role.

My client is based near the South Coast so it would be ideal if candidates lived near the following areas/counties/cities: South East, Hampshire, Hants, Winchester, Petersfield, Farnborough, Southampton, Portsmouth, Waterlooville, Chichester, Bognor Regis, West Sussex and Surrey.
