Job Description

The company currently has a number of positions for Deputy Store Managers for there chain of retail convenience stores, with locations across Dorset, Hampshire and West Sussex. In this position you will be responsible for supporting the General Store Manager in all areas of the ongoing successful operation of the store, whilst striving to meet all financial objectives. You will have to train, develop and supervise a team of up to 15 staff, ensure brand standards are maintained, deliver excellent customer service, assist in stock ordering and control, maintain a clean and safe working environment and actively look to drive sales.


Required Experience

This company are flexible in their approach to recruitment, with successful Deputy Store Managers coming from a wide range of experience and work backgrounds including retail, leisure and hospitality and catering. You will need some experience of supervising or managing a team, working in a customer facing target driven environment. They are looking for confident communicators who are capable of leading and developing a team, with strong service standards and a keen eye for detail. An understanding of stock control and working in a branded environment would be advantageous.

These positions would suit an Assistant Manager looking for that next step, or an existing Deputy Manager that will allow for real career progression.
