Planning Section Leader required to join an established Food Manufacturing business. Reporting to the Planning & stock Control Manager you will be responsible for leading a small planning team ensuring that all short term forecasting within the business unit is done 4 weeks in advance. This will ensure 100% service to internal and external customers whilst minimising waste at all levels of the Internal Supply Chain.

You will be required to support and deputise the planning & stock Control manager and make sure that there is effective stock management of packaging and raw materials.

This role is based in North Hampshire which is commutable from Winchester, Eastleigh, Southampton, Alresford, Petersfield, Alton and Andover.

The core hours for this role is Monday to Friday 10 am to 6pm, however you will need to be flexible to cover the Planners whilst they are on Holiday or off sick.

We would like to applicants with relevant Planning experience within an Food, FMCG or other fast paced environment. You must have the ability to communicate at all levels and excellent leadership skills to manage a team of 4 people.
