Fixed Term Maternity Cover vacancy until January 2009. With the possibility of Part Time thereafter.

At the Littledown Centre our busy Cafe and Bar provides meals from our new and improved menu. We are looking for a Chef, qualified to City and Guilds 706/1 & 2 or equivalent standard, to join our Kitchen Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for food preperation, stock and quality control , food safety and hygiene on a daily basis and for special events. Experience in a similar environment would be an advantage but is not essential.

You must be able to work well in a team, be organised and have all round cooking skills to carry out the varied duties required.

The hours will include some early evening and weekend work on a three week rota basis, but no split shifts.

£14,523 pro rata. Benefits include staff membership to Centre, free uniform, free parking and local Government Pension.
