e-Education Program Coordination Section Manager

Position purpose: organize, coordinate, and manage the section and supervise a team of project managers working on national e-learning initiatives. Develop proposals, strategic articulations, RFP’s for projects; evaluate achievements, develop long and short term program objectives and budget.



Experience required: BSc in an education/technology discipline; 7 years ICT in education program management experience of which at least 3 years with schools . track record of delivering e-learning projects, creation and management of project/program documentation; experience in managing the financial aspects and maintaining budgetary control of programs, and experience in business case development and delivering business change related activity within an IT/educational environment.



The candidate should also have had Successful experience in utilization of instructional technology in the classroom and the ability to consult with school leaders, and teachers regarding issues in the following areas: curriculum, pedagogy, ICT skills integration, sustainability, leadership, technology, educational research and more. Marketing, communications and PR knowledge is a plus.



e-education PROJECT MANAGER

Position purpose: The position is responsible to manage projects ensuring that quality standards are maintained through out and that each project deliverable is fit for purpose. The candidate will identify, research, analyze and document project requirements, as well as plan, coordinate tasks and manage resources; site visits, etc; track progress, interact with the operational team on technical issues and delivery of project; monitor schools usage, collect and analyze data, compose status reports and make recommendations. The incumbent will also be responsible to identify issues and risks and provide advice; facilitate effective information flow to the teachers and school administrators; encourage inter-schools collaboration. The project manager will also work closely with Project Coordinators to ensure that project task areas are closely coordinated and successful implementation of the project.

Experience required: The ideal candidate should have a degree in an IT discipline with PMP certification. Candidate should have proven track record of delivering IT projects, creation and management of project documentations such as project plans; budgets in business case development and delivering business change related activity within an IT/educational environment.. Candidate should have proven a minimum 3 years experience in eEducation projects at school level.



e-learning Specialist

The position is responsible for enabling teachers to achieve expertise in the use of e-learning by providing examples, coaching and training on the integration of technology into the English, math and Science curriculum in k-12 schools. The position is also responsible to Implement systems for monitoring, analysing, evaluating and reporting on progress and achievement relating to all aspects of e-learning The ideal candidate should have a degree in instructional technology or related discipline, with minimum 3 years successful experience in integrating technology in the classroom as a teacher and 2 years as IT school administrator/coordinator. Coaching may be during the day, in the evenings or at weekends so a flexible approach is essential.



Researcher
The position requires a candidate with extensive experience of contributing to areas of ICT in education research, and writing for publications and conference proceedings. Experience in giving conference presentations and running staff development workshops is essential. A broad understanding of the ICT in Education agenda, the impact of technologies in teaching and learning, the funding methodologies and/or integration of technologies to support learning would be advantageous. excellent communication skills, a flexible approach, creative flair and work well in a team is a must.
