The Southampton Titans Australian Rules Football Team is looking for players to help bolster their ranks and compete in the 2010 season of the ARUK Southern Division.

The Titans, established in 2006, are a successful club having won the ARUK Southern Division title in 2008, and then taking out the 2009 National Cup in Newcastle in March this year. Unfortunately the roller coaster season finished on a low note with the club watching the 2009 ARUK Southern Division Grand Final from the sidelines, unable to defend our title.

The club is calling on anyone that would like to be part of the club for the 2010 season. We are calling for players, supporters and officials, with no previous experience necessary. In the three years since the club has been established, we have seen 5 different players selected to play for the English Dragon Slayers, and 1 player picked to represent the Irish Exiles, none of whom had played Aussie Rules prior to arriving at the club.

Preparations are under way for the 2010 season with the first pre-season training taking place on Saturday 17th October. Training will take place at intermittent periods on Saturday's at the big oval at Southampton Common until the new year, when more regular sessions will be scheduled.
